Alina Habba, counselor to President Donald Trump, told Newsmax on Tuesday that the mainstream media hyperventilating over the administration’s execution of mass deportations counters what Americans mandated when they voted Trump into office.

“This was an American mandate. It is what Americans said they wanted,” Habba told “Finnerty.” “They said they weren’t happy with open borders for four years. They weren’t happy with fentanyl pouring in. They weren’t happy with crime, with sex trafficking, child trafficking. They weren’t happy with all those things that the last administration allowed and gave them a key and a [pre-paid] credit card for $10,000.

“So, our job now is to clean it up and do what America have asked. That’s how the government is supposed to work. We’ve forgotten that. But what President Trump is doing is exactly what they asked for us to do when they voted for Donald Trump on Nov. 5. [The left-wing media] really need to get together.”
