President Donald Trump on Thursday morning said Congress’ reconciliation bill “is coming along really well.”
Trump took to his social media platform hours after House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., canceled a vote Wednesday night on a Senate budget proposal, as many Republicans were concerned that proposed spending cuts didn’t go deep enough, and the measure was likely to fail.
Still, the president began his daily commenting with encouraging news.
