Rep. Carol Miller, R-W.Va., told Newsmax on Monday that President Donald Trump is using the promise of steep tariffs on Mexican and Canadian goods to bring them to the negotiating table and let them know that “enough is enough” when it comes to the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs into the United States.

“I think the one thing that we need to remember is that our world leader is back in office,” Miller said on “National Report.” “He is strong, he is a wonderful negotiator, and he is committed to keeping our country safe and great. He is going to deliver on the promises that he made before he was elected.

“We’ve had many world leaders coming here before he’s even taken office to meet with him and for the past four years we’ve had no trade negotiations, no trade anything.”
