Rep. Comer to Newsmax: Biden Family Pardon an ‘Admission of Guilt’

Kentucky Republican Congressman James Comer on Monday accused former President Joe Biden on Newsmax of shielding his relatives through last-minute pardons, calling it an “admission of guilt” in an alleged influence-peddling operation.

Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, leveled serious allegations against Biden on Monday, asserting that the outgoing commander-in-chief granted preemptive pardons to seven members of his family involved in what Comer describes as an “influence peddling” scheme.

In a studio appearance on “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” Comer said, “It’s wild. He pardoned his whole family. So, he’s pardoned seven Biden family members. Our investigation found that ten Biden family members, including Joe Biden, received money through influence peddling schemes that were laundered through a series of shell companies and then deposited in Biden family member’s bank accounts through incremental payments.”
