Department of Government Efficiency leader Elon Musk paid a secret visit to the National Security Agency, where the talks reportedly involved staff reductions and operations, according to current and former U.S. officials.

The meeting came a week after Musk said the NSA needs an overhaul. It is his first known visit to be made to an intelligence agency, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

One official described the talks as a “positive” conversation.
